From Friday Sept 20, the EVA Labs (Empirical Visual Aesthethics) will celebrate their 20th anniversary, with a great scientific and social program, including a summer school with stellar international speakers. As a Faculty, we are very proud to have hosted one of the first, if not the first lab in a Psychology Department dedicated exclusively to the investigation of visual aesthetics and the arts. Helmut Leder and his group members over the years, and more recently also Mathew Pelowski have shown that the University of Vienna is THE place to be for innovative and groundbreaking research in this domain. The event will cover most of that history and research with colleagues and friends connected to the EVA lab.
